LAKEVIEW— The Budlong hosted friends and family Tuesday night in their new Lakeview location, where Bunny The Micro Bakery once served foie gras toast. They've got seating for about 20 inside. The grand opening remains May 17.

LAKEVIEW— Crepe Town is done in Lakeview at 3915 N. Sheridan Road, and will be replaced by Burger Hubreported DNAinfo. There's no opening timeline, but Burger Hub also has a West Ridge location.

LAKEVIEW— There's not a lot of details, but it looks a new restaurant has taken over Jitlada Thai House, 3715 N. Halsted St. It's called Earth's Kitchen. There's little information, except an Instagram account saying they'll serve Japanese-American fusion food.

OLD IRVING PARK— The team at Eris Brewery and Ciderhouse are busy posting photos of construction inside the church where they will eventually make and pour cider. There's no opening timeframe yet, as Eris doesn't want to put out dates without being able to open and be long-delayed like another cider business in town.

WEST LOOP— Roti Modern Mediterranean —note the updated name— is opening another Chicago location inside the MetraMarket, 118 N. Canal St. That's the same building where Chicago's French Market sits. Roti should open early this summer, serving beer and wine. They'll also have an outdoor space, according to a release.

HIGHLAND PARK— Nashville hot chicken is also coming to the suburbs. Honey's Hot Chicken aims to open later this spring at 1791 St. Johns Ave. in Highland Park. It's the same ownership as Real Urban Barbecue in Oak Brook.

OAK PARK— Suburban Oak Park continues to attract breweries and brewpubs. There will be two new additions, reports Crain's. Wild Onion is expanding from their Lake Barrington location with a 132-seat restaurant that should open next spring. Then there's a 144-seat brewpub that's coming to 412 N. Austin Ave. That project doesn't have a name, yet, and will be two levels with a roof deck.

ORLAND PARK— The state's fourth Twin Peaks restaurant is coming to South Suburban Orland Park, reports the Tribune. What's Twin Peaks? It's one of those breastaurants, with scantily-clad female servers in the same vein as Hooters and Tilted Kilt. The Dallas-based chain has quite a colorful history.

WINNETKA— Avli, the new fast-casual Greek restaurant in Winnetka, now has a May 19 opening date, according to a spokeswoman.
