The Renaissance Chicago Hotel's rooftop bar is almost ready for visitors. Raised will feature views overlooking the Chicago River and has a May 13 opening date at 1 W. Wacker Dr. The third-floor lounge will serve a tidy menu of snacks and sharable items developed by chef Daniel Perez, a Marriott veteran last seen working at the company's O'Hare property.

The menu is essentially party fuel, something to sustain guests while having a couple adult beverages or to tide them over until dinner. Diners will find beef tenderloin sliders and lobster rolls, but Raised could be an intriguing desert option. There's a peanut butter and jelly push pop and three other selections. Check out the menu below. There's also more than 40 bottled and local beers, eight wines on tap plus another 35 in bottles. Raised will also feature "rare, interesting glassware."

Curbed Chicago has a great rundown of the design elements from the third floor. Take a look at the photos above.
