It's been a little bit over a month since Chicago's first cider bar, The Northman, opened in Lincoln Square. The bar continues to pack in a crowd even after several opening delays. Now comes news that they'll start daily lunch service beginning on Tuesday.
The menu features lighter items that management hopes will pair well with ciders. There's a grilled chicken thigh grinder and doner kabob for meat-eaters. Keeping it English, there's also fish and chips made with cider-battered —not beer-battered— cod. Read the full menu below.
Lunch service goes from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. They'll also offer bar snacks between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., satiating guests between lunch and dinner.
