For those bittersweet about the loss of Seasons 52 inside The Shops At North Bridge, here's some news. It looks like Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open at the River North shopping strip that's anchored by Nordstrom's, as ownership applied for a liquor license at 55 E. Grand Ave. Neither the restaurant nor the Shops At North Bridge have responded for requests for more information.

Sugar Factory opened a Chicagoland location in 2014 in Rosemont. It's a popular destination for bachelorette parties and B-list celebrities, as well as a testimony to gluttony with large ice cream sundaes and candy goblets filled with booze. While Rosemont is close to O'Hare International Airport, the area isn't exactly popular for celebrities, as stars have been often seen at Sugar Factories in other cities. That includes Kylie Jenner, Drake and Kim Kardashian. Heck, even Kristen Cavalleri has been there. When there's a downtown location, maybe she and hubby/Bears QB Jay Cutler will have somewhere in the city to hang with the kids.
