Twenty-two days after an electrical fire forced its closure, popular Logan Square tiki bar Lost Lake finally reopened this afternoon. Damage to the bar was worse than originally thought, forcing more extensive repairs and garnering help from the local bar and restaurant community. The re-opening announcement was made via social media.

However, it's not all good news, as it appears the adjoined Chinese-American restaurant Thank You will remain closed for the foreseeable future, possibly for a few months, according to a worker there. They suffered extensive damage and repairs are still needed. In the interim, Lost Lake is serving a scaled-back menu of snacks, including instant noodles, according to a Lost Lake employee answering the phone. Land & Sea Dept. haven't shared much in regard to damage specifics.

And in an related but unrelated note, Greektown staple The Parthenon reopened on Friday evening after being temporarily closed but the health department, DNAinfo reported.
