EVANSTON— Sketchbook Brewing Co. has opened their taproom. The Evanston brewery was approved last month. Status: Certified open, 825 Chicago Ave.

ROGERS PARK— Charmers Cafe has replaced the former Towbar. It's a return for Charmers which closed in 2013 at the same spot before Towbar opened. Status: Certified open, 1500 W. Jarvis Ave.

LITTLE ITALY— Christie's Dairy Delights has opened up a second spot to complement their original location in Palatine. The ice cream shop opened its first location two years ago, according to DNAinfo. Status: Certified open, 1151 W. Taylor St.
