Logan Square burger and drinks favorite Parts and Labor remains closed on Monday after the city's health department closed the restaurant last week. Owner Russ Grant said they hope to schedule a health inspection on Tuesday and subsequently pass and reopen. A consumer's complaint led to a failed inspection on Friday, with the city citing insects in the kitchen.

Grant advised customers to check back on Tuesday, as in a text message he wrote that their fate is in the city's hands. DNAinfo first reported the story over the weekend, and has the health department's report. Grant told the publication that he runs a clean business, and though he acknowledged that the city had cause to inspect the restaurant, like many restaurant owners, Grant worried about the arbitrary nature of the inspection process.
