Boka Group's follow-up to GT Fish & Oyster has been pushed backGT Prime will now open in the summer rather than the spring in River North, a restaurant rep said. Boka isn't sharing any more details on their new steak spot helmed by Giuseppe Tentori with a menu of shared plates, doing for meat what the chef did for seafood.

Restaurant ownership on Thursday applied for a liquor license for the restaurant, pegged for 707 N. Wells St. Construction is coming along, but the rep wouldn't share further details. Boka announced the restaurant more than two years ago, and they subsequently aimed for a spring 2016 opening. Though both focus on meat, GT Prime isn't to be confused with Boka's most-recent opening on Fulton Market, Swift & Sons.
