Graham Elliot has news about his namesake restaurant in the West Loop, as he's teaming up with DMK Restaurants to give the restaurant a facelift. He plans on closing Graham Elliot Bistro for three days this month, and then reopening the restaurant with a new focus on simple items with a neighborhood-friendly vibe.

The Tribune broke the news and talked to Elliot and DMK's (DMK Burger, Ada St., etc.) David Morton. They'll close GEB from April 10 through April 12 and then reopen formally on April 19. It's not the new restaurant that Elliot has been talking about for more than two years, but he did tell the Trib they'll have new menus, uniforms and decor. GEB opened in 2012, originally with many items under $20 before adding tasting menus.
