LOGAN SQUARE— A new Puerto Rican restaurant is serving jibaritos, mofongo and more. Jibaritos Y Mas is a casual BYO spot. Status: Opening today, 3400 W. Fullerton Ave.
THE LOOP— Red Robin Burger Works has opened their sixth Chicago restaurant, according to Crain's. Burger Works is the chain's fast-casual concept. The same report mentioned a new location that opened earlier this month at 1700 Maple Ave. in Evanston. Status: Certified open, 180 N. Michigan Ave.
RIVER NORTH— A new gastropub is open in River North in the former Viand space. Copper Fox is inside the Courtyard By Marriott, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Status: Certified open, 165 E. Ontario St.
WRIGLEYVILLE— Starbucks plans on opening their relocated Wrigleyville coffee shop on Saturday inside the former Hi-Tops/Harry Caray's space, according to DNAinfo. They had to move after the old location on Addison Street was forced to close to make room for the new development going in around the baseball stadium. Status: Opening on Saturday, 3551 N. ELMWOOD PARK— The Slice Factory is giving away jumbo slices to the first 100 customers in line at 11 a.m. on Saturday for the pizzeria's grand opening.
