The owners from Uptown Arcade Bar first unveiled plans for their arcade/bar inside the former Annoyance Theater space all the way back at the end of 2014. This past weekend the bar finally opened, according to Uptown Update.

They aren't serving food, but like Emporium Arcade Bar in Wicker Park, they're encouraging customers to bring in take out. So fans of vintage arcade games like "NBA Jam" can enjoy nearby Southeast Asian food from Argyle. The games are free to play, and there's an emphasis on local craft beer as well as whiskey. Ownership hasn't immediately returned a request for comment.

Uptown Arcade Bar, 4830 N. Broadway St., opened 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Monday through Friday; noon to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
