Noble Square's Unite Urban Grill Closes Along Chicago Avenue

After more than two years, Unite Urban Grill's run is over along Chicago Avenue in Noble Square. Restaurant owners Joe and Megan Krouse announced the closure Wednesday afternoon via Facebook and the restaurant newsletter.

Unite's concept brought together Joe Krouse's tastes for steak and meat with his wife's vegetarian love for veggies and grains, a spot where those with different diets could all find something they'd enjoy. They haven't yet responded to a request for comment. It opened in the former Leopold space in November 2013.

The Krouses also own Ten Mile House in Evanston, and they're soon launching DB3 Donuts next door at 1704 Central St.
