When Justin's closed in January, Lakeview locals wondered what would happen to their beloved 31-year-old dive. During a neighborhood meeting, 4-Star Restaurant Group's owners finally revealed their plans for Justin's and for a second restaurant —inside a former dental office across the street. According to DNAinfo, they're turning Justin's into an unnamed Tex-Mex restaurant, while the Wrigleyville Dental office at 1353 W. Cornelia is going upscale French-Italian under the name Ella Elli.

Here's what 4-Star's Doug Dunlay shared about Justin's replacement: Expect fajitas with homemade tortillas and Mexican-style brunch. Table-side guacamole and Mexican draft beer will be served. A larger kitchen will take space away from the beer garden Justin's customers had enjoyed for decades.

Meanwhile, Ella Elli will be a departure from the family-friendly environment that's familiar to most 4-Star concepts (Crosby's Kitchen, Frasca's, etc.). Instead, Dunlay is saying it will be more geared toward an adult evening out. They won't open until 2017, while the Justin's replacement is the priority.

Check back later for more as 4-Star releases additional info.
