Dark Lord Day Changes, Big Accolade For Smoque BBQ, More Intel

—Three Floyds Brewing's 2016 edition of Dark Lord Day, the ever-popular festival and release of its Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout, is returning on April 30 with some new wrinkles. Tickets are now all-inclusive, with a $200 price covering entry, four bottles of Dark Lord, one bottle of variant, food and drink vouchers and a swag bag. They'll go on sale on March 5 at noon via this link.

—Acclaimed Irving Park barbecue restaurant Smoque picked up a nod for best ribs in America by Men's Journal magazine.

—Catering company Paramount Events is opening a restaurant, Crain's reports. Eden, a Mediterranean-influenced 90-seat establishment helmed by executive chef Devon Quinn, is slated to open in May at 1756 W. Lake Street.

—Another food delivery app, Favor, launched in Chicago today. The service, which kicks off with service from the Loop north to Lincoln Park, uses a "Runner" to "pick and deliver anything," not just restaurants the company partners with. There's usually a $6 delivery fee but first-time customers can waive it with the promo code "CHITOWN."

—Aurelio's Pizza owner Joe Aurelio attempted to break the world record for "Highest Pizza Delivery On Foot" during yesterday's Hustle Up The Hancock, Chicagoist reports. He just may have pulled off the 95-floor delivery, according to social media.

—Wicker Park sports and beer bar The Boundary closed yesterday for renovations, according to a news release, and is planning to reopen on March 11 with new booths, rolling high-top tables, exposed brick and many new video screens.
