LINCOLN PARK— BBQ Joint is open after the owners of Taco Joint closed their neighboring Lincoln Park space formerly known as The Mexican. Expect the popular barbecue taco specials that routinely showed up at Taco Joint. Status: Certified open, 1967 N. Halsted St.
GENEVA— Chef Alain Roby, known for All Chocolate Kitchen, has expanded the space into PRIMO, a full-service restaurant offering shared plates and artisanal cheeses and charcuterie. Guests will get to check out Roby's chocolate sculptures from ACK while dining. Status: Certified open, 33 S. Third St. in Geneva.

WEST LOOP— Warm Belly Bakery is stocking and selling 30 varieties of cookies each week, according to DNAinfo. They will eventually offer delivery. Status: Certified open, 1148 W. Monroe St.
CHINATOWN— Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot has expanded into Chicago. Not to be confused with Little Lamb, Little Sheep is serving up authentic Chinese hot pots with a spicy mala chili oil option. Status: Certified open, 2342 S. Wentworth Ave.
OAKBROOK TERRACE— Watch those shawarma robots slice through the meat at another Naf Naf Grill. Look out, they're also opening one in Minnesota. Status: Certified open, 17W746 22nd St., Oakbrook Terrace.
