Next month, suburban Oak Park will welcome its first brewery. It's called Kinslagher Brewing Co., and opens March 11, according to the Tribune. The brewery, which will have a taproom at 6806 W. Roosevelt Road, grew from a member of the Oak Park Homebrewers Club.

The beers include a Baltic porter with chocolate, fig and coffee coming in at 9 percent ABV. There's also a "prohibition-style" pilsner, an altbier and the "Chicago Common" — a red beer. They may even brew ginger ale and root beer. Check out the hours here on their Facebook post. Oh, and they don't accept cash, so bring those credit cards.
