The opening of Filipino fast-food king Jollibee's first Chicagoland location is getting closer. The company has yet to unveil an official opening date, but last month they did announce that the forthcoming Skokie location should be open by mid-year. In preparation, Jollibee shared a few renderings of what their first Midwest restaurant will look like on the 3500 block of Touhy Avenue.

The renderings showed off a patio area and used the same architectural design the chain has used at other American and foreign stores. Take a look below at what would be the 33rd U.S. location for the Filipino restaurant phenomenon.
