Loop workers were excited for a healthier alternative when Just Salad opened their first Chicago location in April 2015. The popular NYC-based chain since opened a second Chicago location and today open a third Just Salad in Chicago on the fourth floor of The Shops at North Bridge, the shopping center off Michigan Avenue. The first Chicago location, at the time, was Just Salad’s first location outside of New York. It’s a busy month for the chain, which also announces its fourth Chicago location that will open Dec. 22 at 10 S. Riverside Plaza.
Cold salads may not be the first thing on a Chicagoan’s mind when the temperature begins hovering around 0 degrees. Knowing that, Just Salad is offering a few winter items served warm. Those include rice bowls with chicken barbacoa or grain bowls with warm quinoa. Just Salad launched in 2006 and now counts 29 locations in the U.S., with spots in Hong Kong and Dubai, as well.
If workers brave the cold, they’ll have a tasty salad waiting for them over in the same building that houses Nordstrom. Just Salad’s third Chicago location is open.
Just Salad, 520 N. Michigan Ave., on the fourth floor of the Shops of North Bridge, open 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday; 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
