BOYSTOWN— There’s more change coming to the corner of Belmont and Halsted. That’s the space that once housed Boystown’s Spin nightclub. Monday night marked the last night for the three concepts inside the space. Seven, The Den and the latest incarnation of The Manhole are done. LKH Management (Hydrate, Elixir, Lark) isn’t sure what they will do with the space, according to ChicagoPride.com. That spot, an icon in Chicago’s gay community, has gone through tons of turnover. We just got over the loss of Whiskey Trust.
Thank you for the memories. <3 - The entire SEVEN staff

NORTH CENTER— Hanami Sushi, a BYO Japanese restaurant at 3925 N. Lincoln Ave., has closed. The neighborhood restaurant was popular for casual meals and catering. Yelp and other diners say it's closed.
BERWYN— Say it ain’t so, Frank. While anxious North Siders prep for a definitive Game 7 in the World Series, there’s some news from the bar/restaurant with former White Sox star Frank Thomas’ name. The Big Hurt Brewhouse has been open for just two years in suburban Berwyn. But now they’ve announced a temporary closure while they remodel the space. A Facebook status says they’ll announce a relaunch date after the World Series finishes, which would be sometime, starting tomorrow.
The Big Hurt Brewhouse is currently closed for remodeling. Our relaunch date will be announced after the World Series....
