Edgewater is now getting doses of some of Chicago’s best Thai food. Andy’s Thai Kitchen, the acclaimed restaurant helmed by chef-owner Andy Aroonrasameraung, has officially opened a second location at 6230 N. Broadway St.
The restaurant with the tagline "authentic Thai unfound in Chicago" soft opened today for lunch service, offering favorites from the original Lakeview location alongside some new dishes. Aroonrasameraung's menu additions include crispy red snapper fillet with sweet-sour sauce, and kha moo palo (braised pork hock with star anise, tofu, hard-boiled egg, and sour mustard). The larger space has exposed brick walls, an ATK neon sign, and seasonal outdoor seating. And unlike the original, the new spot accepts credit cards. It is BYO for now but may serve alcohol in the future. Check out the full menu below.
