It might have been a short work week for those who had Columbus Day off, but rejoice now that the weekend is here. Enjoy the weekend with two new brunch services, plus the return of a fan favorite.

While chef John Manion revels in the success of his new restaurant, El Che Bar, he’s not ignoring La Sirena Clandestina. His Fulton Market restaurant is reinstating brunch service starting on Sunday. Enjoy Brazilian flavor as Sunday brunch will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every week. A grilled hangar steak with creamed yucca, fried egg and chimichurri highlights the menu, which also includes dende-poached lobster tail Benedict.

The River North location of Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen is also launching brunch on Sunday. Service will go from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Sunday. Items include Tennessee hot chicken and waffles, avocado toast and a variety of egg sandwiches. They’re also promising a Bloody Mary bar.

Also in River North, Ironside Bar and Galley has launched both lunch and brunch services. Weekend brunch lasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and they’ll serve lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday through Friday. Check out the brunch and lunch menus below. The brunch includes a Cap’n Crunch French toast.
