Carla Hall, the "Top Chef" alum and co-host of ABC's "The Chew" will follow Alton Brown's footsteps when she hosts the 30th annual James Beard Foundation Awards on May 2 when they return to Chicago. It's a bit of promotion for Hall who hosted the Beard Foundation's Book, Broadcast & Journalism Awards Dinner last year in New York. Ming Tsai, the well-known Food Network star and Beard award-winner, will assume Hall's duties for 2016.
Very excited for this opportunity! https://t.co/qhKblJeKiE
