—Hot Spanish restaurant and wine bar Bom Bolla in Wicker Park is launching weekend brunch service tomorrow that's based on the Spanish tradition "La Hora Del Vermut" (the vermouth hour). From 12-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, all selections from their large vermouth list are half off and new brunch dishes, such as judon beans in jamon broth with confit bacon and poached egg, and a bocadillo egg-and-sausage sandwich, will be available.

—Rahm Emanuel lost his four-year battle to terminate Park Grill's lease. The Mayor had argued that the prominent Millennium Park restaurant was operating under a "sweetheart" 30-year deal brokered by former Mayor Daley's associates.

—Sarah Greuneberg is getting close to opening her first restaurant. The former Spiaggia chef and Top Cheffer is planning to unveil Monteverde, her Italian restaurant in the West Loop, towards the end of October.

—The follow-up to Dryhop Brewers is also getting close, as ownership has installed furniture and other fixtures inside Corridor Brewery and Provisions on Southport. Stay tuned.

Baker Miller is ready to re-expand its hours into evening dinner service. Starting Wednesday, it'll be open and serve full savory and sweet menus until 8 p.m., coinciding with the release of its fall menu. Baker Miller items are also now available a Bow Truss locations and other cafes around the city.

The Gage's sous chef, Jorge Hernandez, is opening a Mexican bar and grill at 4559 S. Halsted. He's hoping Del Sur will open sometime next month, DNAinfo reports.

—Master sommelier Alpana Singh has a new head sommelier at The Boarding House, Kelly Peterson Bates, who's working on rotating the wine list.

—A new brewpub, D and G Brewing, is officially on its way to 1221 W. Devon in Edgewater after aldermen voted to lift a liquor moratorium, according to DNAinfo.

—For every pizza purchased through their Indiegogo campaignPi Gallery Bar is donating a pizza to a homeless shelter between now and the end of October.

—Chef-driven meal delivery startup Radish now delivers to West Town, Wicker Park and Bucktown in addition to downtown areas, Lincoln Park and Lakeview.
