Cemitas Puebla Brings the Sandwiches to New Logan Square Location

Five months after closing in Humboldt Park, Cemitas Puebla's famed Mexican sandwiches are back in the area. Owner Tony Anteliz opened his Logan Square extended popup yesterday, which he plans to be in business for around a year at 3129 W. Armitage, or "at the very least until we get the (Humboldt Park location) up and running."

Anteliz and staff are serving a similar selection of sandwiches, tacos, sides and non-alcoholic drinks as the original and newer Fulton Market location, with cemitas running in price from $7.95 to $10.95 for the atomica. The space seats 34 inside and Anteliz says there's room for more if he chooses to utilize it.

He's still planning a permanent Humboldt Park replacement for a location nearby—stay tuned for more details on that.
