Nando's Peri-Peri's Chicago expansion continues, as the South African import announced a fourth restaurant in the city. No. 4 will open in November in the Loop. They also shared the opening date for the chain's third Chicago location, which will begin serving their signature spicy chicken on Sept. 30 inside the New City development at Clybourn and Halsted streets.
The new Loop spot neighbors Good Stuff Eatery, sharing the same address at 22 S. Wabash Ave. The space will feature Nando's customary African art, and this location includes Senegalese-inspired basket lamps. The New City location sits on the development's ground floor and has seating for 139.
Nando's, which entered the American market in 2008 in the D.C./Virginia/Maryland market, opened its first spot outside that area in May in the West Loop. A Lakeview opening followed in June.
