Baker Miller's got some big news, as the Millers just signed a lease on a North Side space. They haven't disclosed much about it though — including the location — but Dave Miller said to expect a new retail shop.
"It will not be a second Baker Miller duplicate restaurant, but it will have the same ethos etc. and will be food/neighborhood focused," Miller wrote in an email. "We expect to be open in a few months time."
Dave and Megan Miller made the announcement via Facebook. Last year, they left Bang Bang Pie to establish Baker Miller, the house-milled grain cafe in Lincoln Square. In their Facebook announcement, they wrote that they signed the lease from beside Bang Bang.
Just finished a lease signing from an office beside our old shop Bang Bang. You heard right. A lease signing. Something's in the works...

Dave Miller wrote he'll have more details later on, but in the meantime, they're extending hours at Baker Miller in the coming weeks. They'll serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have expanded their menu, with Miller saying they've "increased the quality of our dishes."
Check back later for updates on this intriguing new project from the Millers.
