THE LOOP—If you're looking for a new brunch option with a beer angle, State and Lake's beer brunch is for you. Running every Saturday and Sunday, the brunch finds new dishes paired with and inspired by a number of Goose Island beers for $20. These include house cured pastrami corned beef hash with a Matilda and "bread pudding" French toast with a St. Genevieve Belgian style wit (full menu is below). There's also their weekend "fried chicken frenzy" featuring five pieces with two biscuits for $16 or ten pieces with four biscuits for $30, as well as select growlers for $20. [EaterWire]
