Eaters near the Southport Corridor will finally get their Coalfire Pizza by the end of the month. Originally slated to open by fall 2014 at 3705 N. Southport, co-owner Dave Bonomi said today that they've set the grand opening date for July 30. There's no word yet on whether it will soft open earlier.

First reported in April 2014, Coalfire's second location is twice as large as the original on Grand and feature an "industrial and distressed" design with exposed brick walls. But the iconic Neapolitan pizza will be the same, cooked in 800-degree ovens with three toppings or less. Look for it to open for business before August.
