SAN FRANCISCO—Just over a month after leaving L20/Intro for a "fine dining opportunity," former executive chef Matthew Kirkley has been announced as Daniel Patterson's successor as executive chef at Coi in San Francisco, one of the most decorated fine dining restaurants in the country, effective January 16. Patterson still owns the restaurant, but Coi will become Kirkley's show. [ESF]
FULTON MARKET—Michael Dean Reynolds (Leopold, Bread & Wine) is now officially the executive chef at the Brass Monkey, Untitled's 70s-inspired sibling, after joining the restaurant as sous chef in March. Reynolds takes over the kitchen from Ryan Wombacher, who is now helming the just-opened The Hampton Social in River North. Reynolds has already changed around the menu (read it below) and is planning more changes in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on it. [EaterWire]
FULTON MARKET/WEST TOWN—Pastry chef Anna Posey is exiting The Publican to join her husband David Posey at their forthcoming restaurant on Randolph and Ada Streets. There's no word yet on a replacement. [Zagat]
