Taco & Burrito Palace No. 2, Friday at 10 p.m.

Welcome back to the photo series Eater Scenes, where an Eater photographer visits one of the city's establishments at a certain, and very specific, time of day. For Eater's Cheap Eats Week, Taco & Burrito Palace No. 2.

Everyone Chicagoan knows there's many places for a late-night burrito, but few offer the atmosphere that Lincoln Park's Taco and Burrito Palace No. 2 does. Though they've moved into newer, more modern digs up the street, it's still a unique experience thanks to the surrounding bars and proximity to DePaul University. But it's not just convenience that makes TBP a favorite. The food's affordable, with the ability to stave off hangovers and satisfy. This is a burrito palace that diners can revisit when they're sober.

Check out the scene from Friday night in the photos above.
