LAKEVIEW— It took three years, but Chinatown favorite Lure Izakaya is returning today. They've set up shop inside the former Macku Signature space. StatusSoft opening at 5 p.m. today, 2925 N. Halsted St.

SOUTH LOOP— The Union League of Chicago spent $630,000 renovating its third-floor dining option, the Wigwam, which as re-opened. The breakfast and dinner space debuted in 1933, and hasn't been renovated since the 1990s. Check out the hours and new menu here. [Crain's] Status: Certified open, 65 W. Jackson Blvd.

THE LOOP— Hotel Allegro has a new 18-seat bar. Simply called Bar Allegro, servers offer grab-and-go sandwiches, cold-pressed juices and a variety of cocktails. [Urban DaddyStatus: Certified open, 171 W. Randolph St.

MOUNT PROSPECT— Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, the barbecue chain formerly-owned by Darden Restaurants (Red Lobster, Roy's, etc.), is back with a location in northwest suburban Mount Prospect, inside Randhurst Village Shopping Center. They may open another one in the Chicago area next year. [Tribune] Status: Certified open, 1 Randhurst Village Dr., Mount Prospect.
