GOLD COAST— Maple & Ash is hosting its second pop-up grill event on July 18 outside of its not-yet-opened restaurant at 8 W. Maple St. It's from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and they'll serve samples off their menu, including oysters and meatballs. [EaterWire]

NEAR WEST SIDE— Goose Island has brewed a special beer for Pitchfork Fest attendees. They've named a beer after Chicago's Chance the Rapper, and it's called No Collar. It's a 5.3-percent ABV German Helles-style lager. The fest's July 17-19 at Union Park. [RedEye]

AROUND TOWN— Hungry Hound Steve Dolinsky will host a TV show on PBS Chicago, WTTW, that features Arun Sampanthavivat of Arun's and the new Taste of Thai Town. The show, "Thailand Kitchen of the World" debuts in September. [DNAinfo]

LOGAN SQUARE— Lula Cafe is trying something new on Monday, with its inaugural 100 percent Plant-based Monday Night Farm Dinner. The $46, 4-course dinner requires reservations. The menu features grilled cucumber (lapsang souchong, summer garden herbs, house soy milk), chilled carrot soup (green coriander, carrot top germinate, black lime), new potato confit (squash blossoms, chanterelles, sunflower seed butter) and "halo halo" (blueberry, coconut, apricot, pineapple sage). WEST LOOP— On Tuesday, CH Distillery will continue its regular guest bartender series with Owen Worley of TÊTE Charcuterie. From 8 p.m. to midnight he'll tend bar and serve two special cocktails. They'll also serve a selection of charcuterie. [EaterWire]
