Opening Tuesday, Lure Izakaya Returns After 3 Years in Former Macku Signature Space

Moving from their former digs in Chinatown, the Japanese restaurant is ready to dazzle in their new Lakeview home.

After closing its doors in Chinatown more than three years ago, Lure Izakaya is coming back in a completely different neighborhood: Lakeview. They've set up shop in the former Macku Signature space and, according to their Facebook page, will have its soft opening this coming Tuesday, July 14 at 5:00 p.m.

From photos available via social media, the new Lure Izakaya features plenty of wood in its design throughout, including a number of mid-top communal tables. There's also a striking glass display case where various seafood sits on ice that is lit underneath to dazzling effect.

No word on a menu or chef details, but keep your eyes peeled here for that info when it becomes available.
