Thai food lovers living near West Town should be rejoicing. Opart Thai House is set to open its third location. The owners have applied for a liquor license for the former Bow & Stern Oyster Bar space.

Calls left for Opart's owners at its Lincoln Square and Near South Side restaurants weren't returned, so it's unknown when Opart will start serving delectable Tiger Cry and other favorites in their new neighborhood. Opart was a 2014 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award Winner, and constantly rates as one of Chicago's premiere Thai options. Check back later for any updates. Bow & Stern closed on New Year's Eve on Chicago Avenue.
