WEST LOOP— Native Foods Café on Monday debuted a new express concept by converting their existing store in the West Loop. This new offering from the Vegan-friendly chain has a streamlined menu and faster service. [Nation's Restaurant News]

ANDERSONVILLE— Simon's Tavern, home of one of best jukeboxes of any Chicago bar, will celebrate its 80th birthday at next week's Midsommarfest. The bar was originally a Prohibition-era speakeasy. The fest's held from June 12 to 14. [EaterWire]
