Opening Alert: Nando's Peri-Peri Hatches 2nd Chicago Spot in Lakeview

The third location is planned for a September opening in Lincoln Park

Nando's Peri-Peri continues to storm Chicago with today's opening of its second location in the city. This time fans of the South African spicy-grilled chicken can get their fix in Lakeview. The globally-known chain opened its first Chicago location last month in the West Loop.

Customers will notice the window seats on their first visit, as they're reminiscent of a birdcage, allowing a unique dining experience. As usual, Nando's displays a large collection of South African art, and the influence is seen in the colorful tiles decorating the restaurant's walls.

Besides the window seats, there's several seating options inside. There are traditional tables and benches, as well as plenty of nooks and plush surfaces that provide a unique atmosphere in Lakeview. There's also a few sidewalk seats along Diversey.

Nando's is open today, starting with lunch at 670 W. Diversey Pkwy. Check out the photos above.
