Re-opening tomorrow after an electrical fire forced a temporary shutter five weeks ago, The Winchester will offer guests a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate the occasion. Owner Chris Pappas cites fundraisers arranged by Baker Miller Bakery & Millhouse and Paramount Room for hastening the reopening efforts. The announcement first came via social media.
In the wake of the damage, executive chef Greg Bastien has taken the opportunity to revamp the restaurant's menus (all of which can be viewed below), putting an end to breakfast service. Additionally, the Winchester's bar program and hours have been modified (the café will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with dinner running from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday).
The Winchester will be open Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Normal business hours resume Monday, with brunch service kicking back off next weekend.
