Look Around Dutch-Indonesian Spot de Quay, Now Open in Lincoln Park

The restaurant has been welcomed by the neighborhood, according to the restaurant's general manager.

After opening this past weekend, the interior of de Quay, the new Lincoln Park Dutch-Indonesian restaurant, has finally been revealed. Chef David de Quay's passion project has an intimate bistro feel, featuring an antique bar and dark wood that evokes its Dutch roots.

General manager Terry McNeese says that de Quay's opening weekend was well received by the neighborhood. "They're telling us that they are very appreciative that we have opened (and brought a) more sophisticated dining option (to the area)," McNeese states. He adds that the Javanese chicken sate and the grilled pork chop with smoked rookworst "were big hits."
