It's a week before 4 Star Restaurant Group's new project, Remington's, opens across from Millennium Park, but here's the first look inside. If diners missed chef Todd Stein's menus, check them out here.
Designer Mark Knauer (The Gage, Tavern on Rush, etc.) handled the 6,200-square-foot space, which has seating for 250. They've decided to go with an "urban stately" feel that includes retractable windows that open up to Michigan Avenue providing a full view of The Bean. The interiors include mahogany, wood-paneled walls and black-leather booths, as well as butcher-block tables. There's also a double-sided fireplace and an open kitchen. A private-event room with a 50-person capacity and a lounge for 30 people help divide the space, as does a central wine room that accommodates up to 12.
Remington's opens on May 11. Take a look at photos and see if Remington's is the Michigan Avenue establishment that Chicago needs.
