Opening Report: Villains Returns; Bom Bolla Officially Open; Giordano's at Navy Pier; More

SOUTH LOOP— Villains has quietly returned, once again serving up burgers in the South Loop, as they announced the reopening on Facebook. The original location closed in 2012, about a block south from the new spot.  Status: Opens at 5 p.m. today, 730 S. Clark St.

WICKER PARK— Bom Bolla is pouring Cava and cocktails in Wicker Park. The kitchen's serving up Spanish small plates with a punk rock attitude after a soft open on Thursday. Status: Opens at 2 p.m. today, 1501 N. Milwaukee Ave.

NAVY PIER— Giordano's has opened the chain's 51st location. The Navy Pier full-service restaurant will also feature grab and go kiosk for Chicago deep-dish pizza fans. It's located near the car drop off. Status: Certified open, 700 E. Grand Ave.

BOYSTOWN— The Den, the cocktail lounge companion that neighbors the revival of Manhole, opens today after a minor delay. It features a drink list curated by Hydrate's Vlad Novikov. StatusCertified open, 3208 N. Halsted St.

ROSCOE VILLAGE— Altiro Latin Fusion, which debuted in 2013 in suburban Geneva, is opening its reconcept of Si Fu Chino Latin Kitchen, a joint effort with owner Marc Wuenschel (Hutch) named Altiro Latin Fusion Roscoe Village, on Monday. Status: Opening on Monday, 2116 W. Roscoe St.

AVONDALE— After demolishing the old restaurant, White Castle reopened in a new building on Monday in Avondale at the intersection of Elston, Addison and Kedzie. Status: Certified open, 3212 W. Addison St.
