The revolution is over, as Rev Burger has shuttered its downtown Chicago location. The phone's disconnected and there's a "for lease" sign up in the window. Rev Burger had expansion aspirations, but it also closed its suburban Carol Stream location in January.

The 56-seat River North location, which served booze, opened in July. The restaurant prided itself using Angus beef free of hormones and antibiotics, claiming it was a healthier option than typical fast-food burgers.
