GOLD COAST—Two months after the exit of Alex Renshaw, Whitney Morrow has been promoted to beverage manager at Drumbar. Morrow, who has been with the lounge since November 2013, previously worked at Naha. [EaterWire]

THE LOOPThere's opposition to the restaurant Four Corners Tavern Group is planning inside Maggie Daley Park. Friends of the Parks is concerned about the increasing building on park land, but the Grant Park Conservancy insists that the restaurant gives people an incentive to visit. The restaurant is planned for the space formerly occupied by the café The Green. [Curbed]

WEST LOOPThe Revel Room is the place to be this evening from 6:00 p.m. until closing as The Dogma Group (the new hospitality and beverage consulting group from Clint Rogers, Alex Renshaw and Brian Sturgulewski) host New York's The Dead Rabbit. Dead Rabbit's Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry will be making popular drinks from their bar for $8 a piece. [EaterWire]

ANDERSONVILLE—Head over to The Brixton tomorrow night for the kickoff evening for the restaurant's Whiskey Wednesdays.
