AVONDALE— Reed's Local will host a one-year anniversary party this weekend. On Saturday, local bands The Hanging Gardens and Jollys will perform a free show at 9 p.m. Then starting at 3 p.m on Sunday, they'll offer free barbecue with vegan options and open-mic comedy at 9 p.m. hosted by Fun Simulation 2000. BRIDGEPORT— A new gluten-free restaurant, Chicago Fire Market, is open in Bridgeport at 623 W. 31st St. The lunch and dinner joint wants to give the area healthier options. [DNAinfo]
