Goat-flavored or kimchi-flavored chips? Imagine the possibilities now that chef Stephanie Izard (Girls & the Goat, Little Goat) has teamed up with Lay's Wavy, trying to build some culinary cred for the potato chip company through Pinterest.
Lay's wants customers to contribute recipes with potato chips and is holding a contest. The 20 most-liked fan recipes will be featured in the cookbook, which will be on Pinterest. For starters, Izard suggests crumbling up chips and adding them to dishes for an extra crunch that "just makes your whole mouth get excited while you're eating." The chef's still working on her upcoming Chinese restaurant (Duck Duck Goat) with Boka Restaurant Group. Don't bet on Lay's to appear on the menu there, but watch the video below to see the Top Chef talk about potato chips in cooking.
