LINCOLN PARK—The wait for Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is almost over. The Chicago expansion of the Syracuse, NY-based barbecue chain is said to be opening April 20. Stay tuned for official word. [UPDATE: It will open sometime that week, according to reps.] [DNAinfo]

GOLD COAST—Fresh off the news of April Bloomfield's upcoming event, Nico Osteria will also welcome Philadelphia chef Marc Vetri to promote his new cookbook Mastering Pasta. On Sunday, May 3, Vetri will host a pasta making class and lunch for $200. Then, on Tuesday, May 5, Vetri hosts a four-course dinner with hors d' oeuvres for $150. RIVER NORTH—Brooklyn chefs Max Sussman and Eli Sussman are coming to town for a couple of events to promote their cookbook Classic Recipes for Modern People. They'll host a cocktail party at Tree Studios on April 9 (purchase tickets here) and the next day they'll do a book signing at Foodease from Noon until 2:00 p.m. [EaterWire]

NAVY PIERGiordano's will open their 51st restaurant near the end of May. The restaurant will be located on the north side of Navy Pier's entrance and will include an outdoor patio. [EaterWire]

IRVING PARK—Bread & Wine has expanded their Tuesday Tasting menu to four courses for the same price ($30). The Tuesday dishes from excecutive chef Caleb Trahan are items that do not appear on the restaurant's regular menu. Guests have the opportunity to add wine pairings for $20. [EaterWire]
