Eataly Chicago has been a huge hit with locals and tourists alike since the day it opened nearly a year-and-a-half ago. Besides stocking pretty much any Italian product you could possibly need to take home and make your own meal, they also have a number of food stalls that customers can happily graze from one to the next.
At Osteria di Eataly, chef Alex Pilas is now offering the "Eater Hamburger alla Eataly Chicago," and the burger is as big as its given name.
Pilas describes the burger: "The Eater Hamburger alla Eataly Chicago is a combination of local ingredients, with an Italian twist - think ramps salsa verde as an ode to Chicago's name, and mayo made from local eggs, combined with traditional Italian flavors, such as Parmigiano Reggiano."
The $16 burger comes with a side of fried potato wedges.
Pilas' Eater Hamburger is available through today only at Osteria di Eataly inside Eataly Chicago.
