Former Kinmont Chef Moves On in Nashville; Expo Panel with Bayless; More

NASHVILLE—Former Kinmont chef Duncan Biddulph, now living in Nashville, has taken a position at the forthcoming Fifty First Kitchen and Bar after a couple of months of easing in to his new home. Biddulph tells Eater Nashville he eventually wants to open his own restaurant in the area. Former Slurping Turtle executive chef Aaron Cuschieri is now heading up Kinmont.[Eater Nashville]

AROUND TOWN—Lake FX Summit + Expo, a free arts events with 100-plus programs kicks off today, running through Sunday. On the food end, there's a panel featuring Michael Kornick, Rick Bayless, Alpana Singh and Brendan Sodikoff and one with the Sun-Times' Anthony Todd and Michael Gebert of the Chicago Reader on locally produced and distributed food.
