As Logan Square continues to fill up with new restaurants and bars, it looks like another new spot is heading to that hot block of Milwaukee Avenue sometime soon. A building permit filed with the city last week shows that a new mac & cheese restaurant from Russ Grant (Boiler Room, Parts & Labor) is slated for 2354 N. Milwaukee Ave., the same building as his signless bar and nightlife event spot East Room.

The first-floor space listed on the permit is tiny, clocking in at 383 square-feet. The building, which was once home to a medical clinic, houses offices for creative types in addition to East Room.

Eater has reached out to Grant's team for more info, so stay tuned. The block, which was filled with manufacturing plants less than 18 months ago, now houses The Radler, Slippery Slope, Emporium Logan Square, Chicago Distilling Company, Owen + AlchemyQ-Tine, East Room, and the space once earmarked for Mindy Segal's bakery.
