The Eggsperience is Over in Lincoln Park

Eggsperience Pancakes & Cafe shuttered its Lincoln Park location on the second-floor of the North Avenue Collection building. They closed last month.

The chain's other seven locations, two in the city and five in the suburbs, are unaffected. The Lincoln Park location, on the second level of the multi-tiered building at the southeast corner of North and Sheffield avenues, apparently never received enough foot traffic.

There's no word what will replace the restaurant which was a California Pizza Kitchen until it closed in 2011. Here's a property listing that was updated a day ago for the 5,000-square-foot space.
