May 5 Opening for Remington's; BreakRoom Brewery on Discovery on Sunday; More

Summer open for Fabio Viviani's Bar Siena; Dinosaur Bar-B-Que to open April; Middle Eastern fast-food joint in Wicker Park.

1) MILLENNIUM PARK— It's a May 5 opening for Remington's4-Star Restaurant Group's (Smoke Daddy, Dunlays on Clark) project across the street from Millennium Park's Bean at 20 N. Michigan Ave. Crews gutted the 6,200-square-foot former Caffe Bacci to make room for seating for 250. A private-event space, lounge and central wine room are some of Remington's features. The menu includes oysters from a raw bar, chops and sushi. [EaterWire]

2) ALBANY PARK— BreakRoom Brewery has all its necessary permits from the cityand now says it will open sometime this month at 2925 W. Montrose Ave. Meanwhile, catch a glimpse of the interior on TV at 2 p.m. on Sunday, when BreakRoom will be featured on Discovery's Epic Bar Builds. [EaterWire]

3) WEST LOOP— Work continues on the Bar Siena project from Top Chef alum Fabio Viviani and DineAmic Group (Siena Tavern, Bull & Bear) inside the former Dragonfly Mandarin space at 832 W. Randolph St. It'll be more casual than Siena Tavern in River North. They're targeting a summer open and will have sidewalk seating. [EaterWire]

4) LINCOLN PARK— The Chicago expansion for Syracuse, NY's Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is on track for an April open at 923 W. Weed St. There are eight Dinosaurs, with plans for Chicago and Baltimore. [EaterWire]

5) WICKER PARK— A fast-food Middle Eastern eatery, in the same vein as Chipotle, could soon open 1534 N. Milwaukee Ave. The unnamed project's owner doesn't have an opening timeline, but he wants to open ASAP. [DNAinfo]
